Job description

Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team at our High Point showroom, assisting with social media management, content creation, and brand execution. This role provides hands-on experience in furniture marketing, showroom branding, and event-based content creation - particularly during High Point Furniture Market.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with posting and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Help write captions and support execution of the social content calendar
  • Organize, update, and maintain Pinterest boards to reflect current collections and campaigns
  • Support the creation of Instagram Reels and short-form social content
  • Capture and assist with basic editing of photo and video content
  • Provide support on general marketing projects as needed
  • Assist with real-time content creation and posting during High Point Furniture Market (Spring)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms
  • Support showroom marketing initiatives and campaign rollouts

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
  • Comfortable capturing photo and video content on mobile devices
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects
  • Interest in furniture, interior design, or home furnishings is a plus

Preferred Skills
  • Experience creating Reels or short-form video content
  • Understanding of brand voice and visual consistency
  • Basic editing skills (photo and video)
