Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, has an Immediate opening for an Experienced Residential HVAC Installer I
JOB SUMMARY
Installation of HVAC, Residential New Construction Projects. The HVAC Installer I will be responsible for the basic heating and air conditioning installations like the furnace and ductwork. You will have the great opportunity of being part of our progressive company and working alongside our dedicated workers.
About The Position:

Blue Mountain is in need of an HVAC Installer I to be in charge of the basic heating and air conditioning installations like the furnace and duct work. You will have the great opportunity of being part of our progressive company and working alongside our dedicated workers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Running flue vents for standard and high efficiency furnaces.
  • Sealing all duct connections to the plenum with duct tape and car coat.
  • Running refrigerant line-sets from furnace coil to outside air conditioners
  • Installing a furnace and coil in the correct location with 30" of clearance.
  • Installing duct work level and securing it to meet code requirements.
  • Installing the kitchen hood vent in the correct location.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Prior experience with HVAC startup or construction preferred.
  • EPA Certified- a plus
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written formats, bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and trustworthy.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interface with other Blue Mountain Inc. employees and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Basic understanding and ability to use hand tools
  • Must possess own tools
  • Ability to read field drawings.
  • Ability to complete all tasks in a timely manner, with minimum supervisor and up to California Code.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the physical ability required.
  • Work is done predominantly at property sites with freeway and road travel in between job sites and office.
  • Lighting is both artificial and natural.
  • Equipment used includes cell phone as well as a motor vehicle, safety equipment such as, gloves, eyeglasses, dust masks, fire extinguisher, and battery powered and electrical tools such as saws, drills, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, etc.
  • Individual will have some exposure to rain, dust, noise, heat, cold, and fumes.
  • Work will occasionally require individual to crawl and operate efficiently in small, tight, or confined spaces and/or rooftops.
  • Physical demands include walking, standing, repetitive use of both hands, driving motor vehicles, as well as sitting, balancing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekends required.
  • Position requires contact with Blue Mountain Inc. employees, customers, and outside vendors.
  • Able to tolerate temperatures above 80+ for extended periods of time.

In addition to base salary, this job may be eligible to participate in our corporate discretionary bonus program, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
