LEAD MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Pay: $21-$24/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Lead Management Specialist is the first point of contact when an inquiry is submitted. They are the bridge between initial lead interest and the Leasing team. Their focus will be ensuring no opportunity is missed—managing lead handoffs, maximizing conversion potential, and setting the tone for a seamless leasing experience.

This role requires exceptional communication skills, tech confidence, and a performance-driven mindset. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the first voice and impression of Thrive’s brand for many future residents, using digital tools to guide them through our leasing experience.

REPORTS TO: Community Leasing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND DUTIES

Lead Management

  • Respond to all leads (web inquiries, ILS platforms, email, chat, and phone calls) within 10 minutes during core hours (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday) 
  • Qualify prospects and schedule tour at properties that best fit their needs 
  • Build tailored follow-up cadences using phone, text, and email to move leads through the leasing funnel 
  • Accurately log and update lead activity, touchpoints, and follow-up plan in CRM
  • Schedule tours in accordance with Leasing Specialist/on-site team calendars

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with leasing specialists and on-site leasing teams to execute high-quality warm handoffs and support tour readiness 
  • Participate in marketing content discussions to provide prospect feedback and surface frequently asked questions 

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • ­­­Minimum two years of experience in leasing, customer service, sales, or digital communication roles 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable engaging prospects across multiple digital channels 
  • Ability to build rapport through phone and email quickly and confidently 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated comfort and discipline in using CRM platforms (Entrata, EliseAI or equivalent) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint) 
  • Experience navigating digital lead platforms and customer communication tools 
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
