  • Support proposal development efforts through data calls, color team reviews, strategic messaging input, competitive intelligence, and customer insight development.
  • Maintain awareness of FAR requirements, federal procurement processes, and acquisition trends relevant to WESTECHโ€™s markets.
  • Utilize business development and pipeline management tools to track opportunities, customer engagement activities, and actions.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with government customers, industry partners, executives, contracting personnel, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5โ€“7 years of experience in federal business development or related growth functions.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and qualifying federal contracting opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience developing relationships with government customers and/or prime contractors within the federal marketplace.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal procurement processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for customer engagement, partner meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Active DoD security clearance preferred but not required.

Compensation:

Compensation for this position includes:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Quarterly performance-based bonus incentives tied to measurable business development goals and objectives
