SUMMARY

Receive, investigate, and respond to all customer inquiries regarding sales leads, customers, dealers, Original Equipment Manufacturers, shipments, products, and complaints. Input phone/fax quote requests & orders and relative data into the computer by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Initiates sales process via phone calls, e-mail, direct mailings, and fax to generate revenue.

2. Collaborates with marketing, support staff and production/installation process to facilitate customer goals of end product.

3. Supports strategic sales plans IAW established Goals and Objectives.

4. Assists in sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

5. Supports market analysis to determine customer needs and pricing.

6. Assists in preparation of periodic sales reports and market analysis for presentation to management.

7. Monitors the activities and products of the competition.

8. Talk with customers by phone concerning quote requests & orders, returns, shipments and products.

9. Receive and enter phone and fax orders.

10. Assist the shipping department by calling customers when necessary to advise shipments delay and/or information to process orders.

11. Conduct or assist in surveys as needed for market development and feedback.

12. Initiate file maintenance for corrections to computer’s customer file and PBI database.

13. Handle dissatisfied customers in a professional manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and memos in the English language. Must possess an eloquence of diction and articulate instructions to other employees and customers with proper voice and grammar.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights, and measurements.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions.

Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.
