Job description

TITLE: Funding Team Lead
Responsibility
  • Understand Loan origination policies, procedures, and guidelines with an eye to continual improvement
  • Able to complete funding audits accurately and precisely
  • Assist with the funding queue during high-volume funding days and colleagues' queues when needed
  • Handle escalated issues when the funding manager is unavailable
  • Providing guidance and training to colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with funding regulations and guidelines by staying updated on regulatory requirements and policy changes
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the funding department.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient funding.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks within the funding process.
