Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Execution Manager to lead the cross-functional success of construction projects across strategic market growth opportunities, with a particular focus on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing the demand planning and execution of complex projects, driving collaboration between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Virtual Design & Construction, Product Management, and Customer Care to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Project Manager (PMP or equivalent) with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
• Lead end-to-end project execution, from demand planning and award through final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables across construction and EPC account engagements.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Coordinate internal teams and external entities to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources across engagements.
Cross-Functional Coordination & EPC Account Support
• Serve as the communication bridge between Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to align priorities, timelines, and resource planning for EPC accounts.
• Assist in the development and deployment of sales initiatives specifically targeting EPC accounts.
• Obtain actionable information from sales, translating and coordinating data analytics to manufacturing and supply chain to drive product availability.
• Create and implement business strategies that align with EPC account revenue growth opportunities.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project performance and efficiency.
• Track performance metrics and program milestones, identifying and implementing solutions and process improvements in support of continuous improvement and agility.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through executive updates, cross-functional briefings, and initiative reports.
• Conduct research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, sales operations, supply chain management, or a related leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Ability to appropriately manage multiple (~5) projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree (MBA or related field) is a plus but not required.
• Project Management Certificate (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Experience in or exposure to EPC accounts, MEP systems, or technical sales environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, logistics, or technology industries.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Experience implementing and using artificial intelligence (AI) platforms to enhance project efficiency.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.
Travel
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time to project sites and client locations.
