Job Summary:
Mindlance is a national recruiting company which partners with many of the leading employers across the country. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan and deliver multiple projects, manage project budgets, and lead cross-functional teams while ensuring effective communication and resource management.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Plan and Deliver multiple projects as a Project Manager.
โ€ข Create project charter and business case.
โ€ข Create project plan and budget.
โ€ข Work with functions to commit resources to projects, resource level and identify resource constraints.
โ€ข Create clear, concise weekly status reports and present to program leadership.
โ€ข Create, maintain and manage end to end project plan for all projects under your responsibility from requirements gathering through to release including Development, Testing, Deployment & Archive.
โ€ข Ensure project plans are signed off by functional leads & relevant project managers.
โ€ข Lead and support cross functional team to identify all schedule & resource interdependencies and associated risks.
โ€ข Establish a process or forum for raising and evaluating project issues and risks.
โ€ข Work with functional managers to create overall resource and work plan per project budget and schedule constraints.
โ€ข Review all schedule dependencies to the task level of detail.
โ€ข Coordinate the production and review of project deliverables and ensure required inputs are delivered on committed dates or change management is implemented.
โ€ข Provide ownership and management of Project Budgets including frequent updates to represent overall status of internal and external pend to date, spend by month, spend by program/phase, committed spend, SOW status, PO & invoice tracking and approval to agreed guidelines.
โ€ข Provide Team Management and Communication.
โ€ข Lead, motivate, manage and support assigned team members to ensure adherence to process and procedures and to maximize contribution to effectiveness and efficiency.
โ€ข Where appropriate provide feedback that will improve or increase efficiency or quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Strong experience in managing multiple projects concurrently with the ability to move between high level overview of multiple projects and detailed component tracking and issue management.
โ€ข Fluent English, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
โ€ข Ability to drive consensus among various internal stakeholders, including executive management and third parties.
โ€ข Customer service orientation with ability to manage relationships with internal and external customers.
โ€ข Strong Microsoft Project Skills and experience creating management reports from these projects.
โ€ข Strong presentation skills using Powerpoint, Excel, and Word.
โ€ข SAP Project implementation experience. Emphasis on Finance implementations.
โ€ข Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, w/ 8 years minimum experience in the development field.
โ€ข 6 years experience in project management - expert at building and tracking project plans and risk management and project budgets.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with IT2, Dolphin, Anaplan, Tagetik, BPC or similar finance implementations
