Kona Ice is a highly respected frozen dessert company that is 100% mobile. We participate in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports tournaments, large festivals, concerts, corporate events, private parties, local college games, and other unique events across Utah & SLC counties throughout Spring, and early Fall.

WHO SHOULD APPLY -

  • Driver/Event specialist (must be at least 18 years old) with a clean driving record (no at-fault accidents)
  • College students or high school graduates looking for a great job.
  • Anyone looking to supplement their current income, pad their vacation budget, or pay down debts faster -SAHM, off-season teachers, and bus drivers.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO -

  • have a positive attitude and a warm personality
  • are dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable
  • work at a quick, yet efficient pace
  • are quick learners and can perform quick simple math calculations
  • work well under minimal supervision.
  • can communicate effectively with people of all ages
  • are able to lift 25- lbs
  • are available to work a flexible schedule - including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • *Towing experience, warehouse management, handy-man skills are a plus but not necessary*

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - including, but not limited to the following:

  • Greeting and serving customers with consistent positivity & enthusiasm
  • Be comfortable driving Kona Ice truck to and from events
  • Taking orders with speed and accuracy
  • Closely following sanitation and food safety procedures
  • Perform basic cleaning of trucks
  • Accept payments and operate square point of sale
  • Complete beginning & end-of-shift prepping, stocking, and event tracking duties
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team
