Fun Entry Level information

What is a fun entry level?

A Fun Entry Level job is an entry-level position that combines work with an enjoyable and engaging environment. These jobs often involve creativity, social interaction, or hands-on activities that keep the workday interesting. Examples include roles in event planning, hospitality, entertainment, marketing, or startups. They are great for those looking to gain experience while enjoying what they do.

What does a typical day look like for someone in a fun entry level position?

In a fun entry-level role, your day may involve setting up activities or entertainment spaces, guiding and interacting with guests or participants, and helping to ensure everyone has a great time. You will often work closely with a dynamic team and may rotate between different areas or tasks to keep your work engaging and varied. You might also respond to guest questions, help solve minor issues, and occasionally assist with facility upkeep or event coordination. This type of position is ideal for energetic, people-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced and social environments. Over time, you can gain valuable skills that open doors to more specialized or supervisory roles in the entertainment or hospitality industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the fun entry level position, and why are they important?

To thrive in an entry-level role focused on delivering fun experiences—such as an Entertainment Host, Recreation Assistant, or Theme Park Attendant—you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Familiarity with scheduling software, audio-visual equipment, or guest management systems may be beneficial, depending on the work environment. Strong communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving skills help you engage customers and contribute positively to your team. These abilities ensure you provide enjoyable experiences while maintaining safety and efficiency in high-energy, customer-focused settings.

Job description

Sales Representative - Entry Level (No Experience Required)

Location: In-person, Rockville, MD

Range: $45,000 – $150,000 per year

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays

You don't need experience. You need to be coachable.

Most sales jobs hand you a phone and wish you luck. We don't. You get a base salary, weekly training camps, and a manager whose actual job is getting you to your first close.

Presidential Exteriors is ranked #57 in the Top 200 HIP Home Remodeling Pros and named one of the Top 20 Fastest Growing Companies by the Washington Business Journal. Every one of our sales leaders started in an entry-level role here. Not most of them. All of them.

Who we are

Our mission is simple: to be the best damn construction company there is. That means constantly improving our customers' homes along with our people, our systems, and our culture.

Our core values:

  • Integrity Always. Integrity is the foundation of everything we do. If it's missing, nothing else matters.
  • Future Forward. We don't just respond to change, we drive it. We make decisions today that lead to long-term success.
  • Winning Culture. Talent gets you in the door. Culture keeps you here. We build trust, raise standards, and win together.
  • Employees First. Great customer experiences start with great employee experiences. When you thrive, our customers do too.
  • Presidential Pillars. The traits we look for, develop, and celebrate in every member of our team, all built on a foundation of Accountability: Discipline, Consistency, Grit, Leadership, Attitude, and Training.

What you'll do

  • Represent Presidential Exteriors in the community as a trusted brand ambassador
  • Introduce homeowners to eco-friendly, high-quality home improvement solutions
  • Meet and exceed personal and team sales goals
  • Learn advanced communication and negotiation techniques through hands-on coaching
  • Participate in weekly training camps and leadership development
  • Grow into leadership and mentorship roles as you master your craft

What we're actually looking for

  • You can hold a conversation with someone you just met
  • You want to be coached, not left alone
  • You're competitive and you show up consistently
  • You want to run a team eventually, not just hit quota

No sales experience required. No degree required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Wage range, benefits, and other compensation

Wage range: $45,000 – $150,000 per year.

Benefits offered:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Up to 4 weeks paid time off annually
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid training and leadership development

Other compensation offered:

  • Uncapped commission
  • Performance bonuses
  • Incentive trips, including luxury vacations for top performers and an annual company-paid trip to Mexico

Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and plan terms. Full details are provided during the hiring process.

The stuff that makes this fun

  • Annual company-paid trip to Mexico. Bring a guest.
  • Quarterly team events
  • Wellness initiatives and leadership conferences
  • A team that celebrates wins out loud

This is a starting line, not a filler job

Your voice matters here. Your growth is real. And your effort gets rewarded in a way you can see on a paycheck.
