Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, specifically for our remote Community Health Clinic located in Atoka, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide essential mental health support to clients by developing and executing individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being. This full-time position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, ensuring tailored and effective treatment plans are developed.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that address specific challenges and goals of clients, adjusting the approach as needed based on their progress.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for clients.
  • Educate and support clients' families, providing insights into mental health concerns and strategies to aid in the recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Our clinic serves individuals from different age groups, each facing unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. This variety allows for rich clinical experiences and the opportunity to apply diverse therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years in the mental health counseling field.
  • Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices applicable to various mental health disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport and engage clients effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health setting that provides insight into underserved populations and their unique needs.
  • Familiarity with digital health tools and teletherapy platforms, enhancing service delivery in a remote environment.
  • Specialized training or certifications in therapeutic modalities that improve treatment outcomes, such as Trauma-focused CBT or EMDR.
