Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth to address clients' relational and mental health concerns.
  • Conduct detailed assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Employ innovative therapeutic techniques, including family systems theories and systemic interventions, to tackle issues such as communication breakdowns and family stressors.
  • Offer immediate support during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Facilitate workshops or educational sessions that teach clients effective communication, conflict resolution, and stress management strategies.
  • Regularly engage in professional development activities to stay current on evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist will work closely with a varied client demographic, including adults, children, and adolescents. Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
