Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to enhance our team in Copperas Cove, Texas. This full-time position offers the unique flexibility of remote work while performing essential duties in an outpatient office setting. Working primarily from a remote location, our Licensed Professional Counselors enjoy an adaptable schedule, with available office hours spanning from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Leading individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering healing.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.
  • Offering timely crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.
  • Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on assisting individuals grappling with trauma and its related disorders, ensuring that each approach is tailored to facilitate healing and empowerment. You will engage with a diverse patient population and have the opportunity to work with couples, for which training will be provided. Your commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid LPC license in the state of Texas.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, promoting a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
