Job description

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders. Our customers and community members know that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products.
Pay: $111,724 - $135,246. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position. Exceptional candidates with significant Truss manufacturing experience may be considered above the posted range
We are seeking a General Manager to lead our Woodinville Truss operation. This role is responsible for the safety, performance, and growth of the facility, overseeing manufacturing operations, employee development, quality, inventory, and customer service while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The General Manager reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for leading all hourly and salaried employees at the location.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Culture
  • Lead and develop supervisors and production employees through servant leadership and coaching.
  • Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear expectations and help employees grow through training and development opportunities.
  • Promote PARR's FACE values in daily operations and decision-making.
  • Partner with corporate teams including Sales, Purchasing, Fleet, HR, IT, and Finance.

Operations & Business Performance
  • Oversee all manufacturing, assembly, inventory, warehousing, and delivery operations.
  • Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are met safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Manage labor planning, staffing, productivity, and production costs.
  • Monitor facility performance through KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Provide direct input into pricing strategy and decisions by evaluating production costs, labor and capacity, market conditions, competitive dynamics, and customer needs in partnership with Sales and other business leaders.
  • Participate in budgeting, capital planning, and strategic operational improvements.

Safety & Quality
  • Champion a world-class safety culture by ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead safety meetings, investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility environment.

Customer & Community Engagement
  • Support strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Represent PARR professionally within the local community and industry.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly operations.
  • Proven experience leading supervisors and hourly production teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred
  • Experience in truss manufacturing, engineered wood products, millwork, component manufacturing, or related building materials operations.
  • Experience with budgeting, labor planning, inventory management, and KPI-driven operations.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Post-secondary education, technical training, or industry certifications.
