Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Audio Engineer based in Boston, MA, Washington, DC &/or Durham, NC with flexibility for some remote work. The Audio Engineer will be responsible for managing audio recordings, editing, and mixing sound for various multimedia projects. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and troubleshooting audio equipment, optimizing sound quality, and collaborating with creative and production teams to deliver high-quality audio experiences. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and precision to ensure the sound production aligns with client objectives and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise with microphones and audio engineering techniques
  • Proficiency in sound design and operation of audio-visual (AV) systems
  • Understanding of acoustics and its application in sound optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality audio content
  • Experience in working collaboratively with creative and technical teams
  • Relevant certifications or a degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field is an advantage
  • Knowledge of industry-leading audio recording and editing software
