Job description

Registered Behavior Technician
We are currently searching for a full-time RBT/Behavior Support person to work with Grades K-4 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This is a 10-month position; work hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.
Qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university preferred, minimum 3-5 years experience in lieu of degree.
Special Education, RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA certification preferred.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting.
Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, positive behavior support techniques, and crisis prevention/intervention protocols.
Current and acceptable FBI, PA Criminal, and PA Child Abuse clearances.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of students and the program.

4 - Completion of a Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)

7 - Three letters of professional reference
8 - Completion of a PA School Health Record

10 - Completion of Professional Ethics Training
