Job description

Overview

Good Sam is looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starter with successful enterprise experience to come in and evaluate personnel on team, workstream, and process, and brings a playbook to their team of how they go about establishing and honing those best practices. Someone that can put the right product management software in place to drive communication and someone that understands the art of communication around the product marketing component and can autonomously pick up the commercial side of the business and have a strategy handed to them and be solution oriented on how to go build that strategy. Good handle on eCommerce + understanding clearly how their contributions in the product space have contributed to the overall strategical vision of the organization.

What you will do

  • Develop an environment of rapid hypothesis testing and a culture of continuous improvement

  • Develop a team of world-class product managers, providing guidance and direction to deliverthe product vision and strategy

  • Develop a strong understanding of target personas and the Good Sam ecosystem

  • Leverage a data-driven approach to provide recommendations, drive action, and yield quantifiable outcomes

  • Ensure digital experiences across the Good Sam ecosystem are best-in-class

  • Define, iterate, and communicate a roadmap for the digital commercial team

  • Ability to have a mature conversation with VP of Digital and be able to successfully translate in and out of technical and non-technical conversations with stakeholders

  • Challenge boundaries of the organization and technology to drive improvements in a content-first approach

  • Mentor and grow a team of product managers

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication across the organization

  • Champion enterprise initiatives and ensure the digital experience evolves via emerging technologies

  • Partner to establish process excellence in the product management function

  • Understanding clearly how their contributions in the product space have contributed to the overall strategical vision of the organization, the business and customer value they have created, the KPIs and be able to have a conversation around the incrementality of the impact of their efforts


What you will have

  • Experience leading in an agile product management environment

  • 5-10+ years' experience in product development, product management, and scaling mobile and web products

  • Experience driving large projects across a complex organization with multiple brands

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce

  • Experience identifying KPIs and consistently delivering work that has a quantifiable impact on the customer and business

  • Experience implementing minimum viable processes and influencing team behaviors; iterate based on feedback

  • Experience managing technically complex products that require multiple platform integrations

  • Experience working with third parties' vendors and managing end-to-end integrations

  • Experience working with software components across mobile and web

  • Proven track record of identifying customer and business needs and converting them into application and operational requirements

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$162,600.00-$249,400.00 Annual
