About the Role:
Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music is looking for a passionate and skilled Voice Instructor to join our growing music community in Gwinnett County, GA. This is a wonderful in-person teaching opportunity to inspire students of all ages and skill levels while doing what you love most — making music.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and/or group violin instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
  • Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and learning pace
  • Teach proper technique including bowing, posture, finger placement, and music theory fundamentals
  • Track and evaluate student progress and communicate updates to parents or guardians
  • Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and motivating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with school staff to support studio events and recital programming
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in violin performance with a strong foundation in classical technique
  • Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred (all levels welcome to apply)
  • Ability to teach beginner through advanced students across a range of age groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Passion for music education and a genuine enthusiasm for student development
