Job description

We are seeking a first shift and second shift, full-time operator in our Bindery department with proficient experience in the operation of cutting and folding equipment; some stitcher experience is a plus.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' skilled bindery experience and be well-versed in all aspects of print applications relevant to projects requiring cutting, folding, and stitching, along with mechanical aptitude.
Job Responsibilities
  • Equipment set-up and operation
  • Equipment maintenance and upkeep
  • Department housekeeping
  • Project completion and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues or deficiencies
  • Administrative duties, e.g., MIS, project checklists, and sign-offs, etc.
  • Health and safety compliance with company and regulatory policies/procedures

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math, measurement, and computer skills
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand regularly for a minimum of an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. at a time with frequent lifting (light to moderate) and bending
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules where applicable.
