Fulltime Offshore Oil Rig Roustabout information

Are roustabout jobs always offshore?

Roustabout jobs on offshore oil rigs are typically performed offshore, as the role involves maintaining equipment and assisting with operations on the rig platform. However, some roustabout positions may be available on land-based oil facilities or storage sites, depending on the company and location. Offshore roles often require safety training, physical fitness, and the ability to work in remote, challenging environments.
