What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Charge: Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using our unique clinical model and the magic of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
  • Assess & Impress: Conduct thorough risk and OCD assessments, crafting personalized safety plans and treatment strategies that truly resonate with our clients.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with a fantastic treatment team to set and review treatment goals, ensuring our clients are on the path to success.
  • Document the Journey: Keep accurate and timely records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes – your organizational skills will shine here!
  • Engage Families: Host Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Support Groups, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families to learn and grow together.
  • Crisis Navigator: Conduct ongoing risk assessments and provide timely interventions when needed, ensuring our clients feel safe and supported.
  • Stay Connected: Attend weekly team meetings and clinical supervision sessions, sharing ideas and insights with your colleagues.
  • Data Dynamo: Enter data accurately in Outlook, EMR, and online learning platforms – your tech-savvy skills will be put to good use!
  • Represent Us: Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences, showcasing the amazing work we do at Newport Healthcare!

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided required.
  • Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents required.
  • Experience with mental health, OCD and anxiety disorders, preferred.
  • Willingness to be trained in ERP required.
Qualifications:
