Primary Responsibilities:

  • Dynatrace Platform Engineering
    • Serve as the primary technical SME for Dynatrace Managed and Dynatrace SaaS environments
    • Design, implement, and maintain Dynatrace monitoring standards, management zones, alerting strategies, tagging frameworks, and service ownership models
    • Configure and optimize OneAgent, ActiveGate, Distributed Tracing, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Davis AI, and Automation Workflows
    • Develop enterprise observability standards and governance practices
  • Python Development & Automation
    • Develop Python-based automation solutions to streamline observability operations and platform administration
    • Build integrations leveraging Dynatrace APIs, REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud-native services
    • Create automated onboarding, validation, compliance, reporting, and remediation capabilities
    • Design self-healing workflows and automated operational runbooks
  • CI/CD & Observability as Code
    • Implement and support Observability-as-Code using Dynatrace Monaco, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins
    • Build automated deployment pipelines for Dynatrace configurations, dashboards, alerting profiles, SLOs, and management zones
    • Integrate monitoring validation into software delivery pipelines and create automated quality gates

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of hands-on Dynatrace engineering experience
  • 5 years supporting enterprise observability, monitoring, or SRE platforms
  • 3 years developing production-grade Python automation solutions
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Experience utilizing Dynatrace APIs and configuration automation
  • Solid understanding of distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, metrics, logs, events, and reliability engineering practices
  • If you are offered this position, you will be required to provide extensive personal information to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance as a condition of your employment
  • United States Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dynatrace Professional or Advanced Certification
  • Experience with Monaco (Monitoring as Code)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Fluent Bit, and OpenTelemetry
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP High or government-regulated environments
