Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including gathering medical histories and conducting physical examinations to inform diagnostic evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with supervising physicians to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for patients, ensuring the use of best practices for pain management.
  • Conduct various procedural interventions such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and other minor surgical procedures under the guidance of attending physicians.
  • Educate patients on their medical conditions, treatment alternatives, and necessary lifestyle adjustments to foster effective pain management and enhance overall wellness.
  • Document patient encounters meticulously and maintain accurate medical records to support continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on advancements in pain management techniques and integrate new methodologies as appropriate to enhance patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse patient demographic, including individuals facing acute post-surgical pain, those with chronic pain syndromes, and patients requiring ongoing pain management strategies. Our dedicated team approaches each case with empathy and a strong commitment to understanding the unique needs of every patient, enabling personalized and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in California.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and the ability to perform autonomously within your scope of practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust with patients and collaboration within the healthcare team.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to advocate for patientsโ€™ best interests.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in pain management or a related clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with pain management modalities and treatment technologies will be considered a significant asset.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
