Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead and contribute to a diverse portfolio of structural projects. The Project Manager position requires effective leadership and communication skills. Project Managers need to have a varied structural design expertise and comprehension. In addition, have the ability to monitor project progress, and develop project schedules and proposals. You will be involved in production and coordination of several projects concurrently with the responsibility of coordinating and reviewing the details of their projects while developing the engineers and drafting staff. Project Managers are also responsible for building client relationships and networking within the community and bringing in new work for the office.

General Job Duties and Requirements (including but not limited to):

ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย PE (Professional Engineer) Licensed in state of California (minimum)
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Create project schedules and communicate deadlines.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Create proposals and budgets.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Verify project budgets and modify as needed.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Participate in monthly invoicing, including worksheet review and invoice preparation for current clientโ€™s base.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Manage projects through all phases.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Develop and maintain client relationships.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Attend and participate in weekly manager meetings.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain job scheduling sheets and employee schedules.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Develop and maintain a professional relationships with staff.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Support and/or participate in annual reviews.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Coordinate with field personnel regarding any of your projects that are scheduled for observations/inspections.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain up to date records in job folders (Including but not limited to, design documents, proposal/contracts, extra service documents and relevant correspondence.ย 
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Provide structural design for projects.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Involvement with 2 community organizations.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Lead one of MKMs Committees.

Additional Information:
This position is 100% onsite at our MKM & Associates office in Rohnert Park, CA. 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts. (Flexible schedules can be accommodated)
