The Role

CAAseeks a Production Project Manager for our in-house Creative Services department. In this role, they will report to the Head ofProject Management and support all incoming requests and processes forthedesign, editing, branding, and production teams with a focus on Production. The Project Manager willbe responsible forliaisingwith assistants, agents, partners,clients,and vendors to support a wide range of internal and external business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control resources,proceduresand timing foradministrative and businessneeds

  • Liaise withcolleagues, clients and vendorsvia email, call, and meetingsto review project briefs and details, and todetermineprocessneeds

  • Set kick-off calls and communicate project details tothe appropriate creativeteams and supportthe Head of Project Management

  • Research,analyze,conceptualizeand articulateworkflow improvements,adapting to any special needs or considerations from internal and external clients

  • Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop projectschedulesanddetermineresource requirements for day-to-day work

  • Identifyand resolve obstacles to completing projectson time

  • Function as creative support when needed in the areas of production, editing, design, and branding/identity development

  • Uphold and enhance CAA's brand standards

  • Maintain list of vendors worldwide in the fields of videography and photography

  • Engage directly with Agency clients onproduction, editing, branding and designprojects, as requested bythe Head of Project Management

  • Stay up-to-date on latestproject management and creativetrendsand applicationsto continually improve skills Maintain organized archives

  • Managing on-site production needs, including picking up and dropping of gear, location scouting, initial test photography

  • Ability to manage multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects) at the same time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree infilm production,communication, graphic design, or other media-relateddegreeor relevant work experience

  • 4-6+years of professional experience working in a creative environment such as a production company, agency, or in-house creative department

  • Experience on set for video shoots, photo shoots, live productions

  • Experience managingmultiple, long-term andshort-termprojects

  • Ability to give and receivefeedback

  • Working knowledge ofproject management systems and workflows, particularly Asana.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and production/design/editing language

  • Understanding ofworkplace relationships, politics and navigating different personalities

  • Eye for detail, ability to carefully cross-reference notes to deliverables

  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to convey creative concepts

  • Positive, hard-working, "can-do" client service attitude

Location
This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $86,000 - $105,000 . This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
