Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a role that offers flexibility, advanced equipment, and a strong team environment? A growing, well-established manufacturer in Menomonie is seeking detail-oriented machinists to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of parts while continuing to build your technical skills in a modern facility.


POSITION – CNC Machinist Programmer

JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st or 2nd Shift (5x8’s or 4x10’s available; Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday)

STARTING PAY – $24.00–$30.00/hour DOE + 7.5% shift premium for 2nd shift

BENEFITS – Health Insurance, 401(K) with Match, Paid Holidays, Flexible Scheduling

REQUIRED EDUCATION – Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1–2+ years CNC machining experience preferred


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate work orders, prints, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Program CNC 3, 4, and 5-axis machines using Mastercam and/or Surfcam
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and offsets for production runs
  • Operate CNC and manual equipment including lathes, mills, saws, grinders, and sanders
  • Design and build fixtures, jaws, and inspection gauges
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and adjust as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with engineering, tooling, and quality teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Surfcam preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience with measuring equipment (CMM knowledge a plus)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to bend, reach, and work within machine spaces

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997.
