CNC Programmer

Location: Tulsa, OK
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $30 - $40/hr

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a CNC Programmer for an aerospace manufacturing client in Tulsa, OK. This role develops and improves CNC programs for precision-machined components using CATIA V5.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programmer who enjoys solving machining challenges, optimizing toolpaths, and working closely with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create CNC programs and toolpaths using CATIA V5
  • Review blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD data
  • Determine tooling, speeds, feeds, reference points, and machining sequences
  • Validate programs through computer simulation using VERICUT
  • Support machine trial runs and troubleshoot programming or production issues
  • Revise programs to correct errors and improve cycle time, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Modify existing programs to support changing production requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure parts meet specifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of aerospace CNC programming experience
  • Advanced proficiency with CATIA V5
  • Experience with VERICUT and ICAM
  • Ability to create CNC programs and toolpaths from scratch
  • Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Experience selecting tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and production troubleshooting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CATIA V5 certification preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, math, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements
