Music Director Associate

Blankenbaker Broadcast Team- fulltime

The Music Director Associate will partner with our Blankenbaker Worship team in carrying out the vision of developing a vibrant worship culture. This role will invest in and shepherd volunteers to lead and share that same vision and mission. This role will report to the Music Director.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Collaborate and align with the Worship and Production teams
  • Resource new songs with charts/audio on Planning Center
  • Resource new songs with clicks/cues/tracks/automated lyrics on OneDrive
  • Build Ableton sessions for weekly services
  • Play drums or keys at SE services, All-Staff, and other events as needed
  • Live music direct for services on occasion
  • Contribute to recording projects as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Musical skills on drums or keys
  • Proven skills in volunteer recruitment and training
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Working knowledge of Ableton
  • Working knowledge of Planning Center Online

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from a Bible College is preferred but not required
  • Experience in worship (minimum of 3 years)
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church or willing to become one.
  • A commitment to live out our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun
  • Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving.
  • Agree with the *Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and live out our church Mantras in tangible ways.
