Job Summary:
Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, and they are seeking a Senior Technologist to join their Strategic Technology Group. The role involves designing and delivering high-quality technology frameworks, optimizing code for complex applications, and mentoring peers to ensure excellence in software development.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate project requirements and use cases to deliver high-quality, design, frameworks, and production-ready code work products.
• Design technology frameworks for complex scenarios, develop design patterns and reference implementations. Design reusable assets and conduct design reviews.
• Deliver high-quality code across applications, databases, and integrations.
• Optimize code, debug complex routines, and develop code generators and pilot implementations for reusable components, ensuring defect-free production-ready code.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and technology implementations.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and help maintain delivery consistency and code quality
• Identify proof of concepts (PoCs) for emerging programming independently develop PoCs for new technologies and complex modules ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide inputs for multi-technology and multi-language high risk deployments.
• Evaluate and implement technical services to meet high-quality service (QoS) requirements, ensuring alignment with business and IT key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Create reusable assets and deliver defect-free, impactful code to achieve quality benchmarks and Zero-Defect Delivery.
• Support complex projects by resolving technical challenges and reducing risk exposure.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decision-making and enhance project outcomes.
• Support test automation and execute test strategies to drive quality improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Core development & architecture experience in below stacks: Analysis and Design skills in core development, design & architect experience, implement design patterns, architecture patterns & event driven architecture
• In-depth understanding of cloud architecture styles and design patterns.
• Experience with .NET 6/ 6.1 /Core 3.1 Framework with C#, Entity Framework
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications utilizing Azure PaaS Capabilities such as App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Experience with git, Azure DevOps, build pipelines, code branching/merging, code management & implementing security on Azure.
• Experience with WCF, Web API, REST, and multi-tier distributed systems
• Modern JavaScript frameworks, Angular v13+ or up to date equivalent i.e. React/VUE
• Understanding with Refactoring, object-oriented and functional design patterns, and related areas.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Preferred:
• Technical knowledge to integrate, and apply modern AI tools including: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini etc
• Technical Ability to build bespoke AI agents, multi-agent systems using Python and frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain to build applications tailored to nuanced, real-world business needs
• Experience in Open-Source frameworks and tools
• Ability to do technical research and work on POCs
• Experience in HTML5/CSS3, Java script, JQuery and responsive web design.
• Experience with Azure Storage Data Movement Library
• Design and development of SSIS packages and knowledge of ETL tools (ADF would be plus)
