  • Compensation Structure: * 10-Month Base Salary: $40,296 – $57,391+ (Based on an established contract step-scale and professional experience).

The Role: General Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Nursing Coordinator, you will lead instruction utilizing an approved curriculum, transforming your clinical wisdom into actionable lessons for adult student nurses.

  • Clinical Supervision: Lead, mentor, and evaluate student nurses during their practical rotations at pre-determined local hospitals and clinic sites (within a highly manageable maximum travel radius of 16 miles) .

  • Student Mentorship: Assess student learning styles, modify instructional methods to meet individual student needs, and maintain accurate records of classroom and clinical experience.

  • Curriculum Design: Collaborate actively with the nursing school faculty to plan course outlines, modify teaching schedules, and continuously enhance curriculum quality.


Qualifications & Requirements

We are seeking a structured, communicative, and passionate Registered Nurse who is excited about mentoring adult learners.

  • Licensure: Must be a currently licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in the State of New York.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required ; a Starting/Coursing a Master’s Degree in a related field required.

  • Adult Education Certification: Must possess or be willing to obtain a NYS Certification as an Adult Education Teacher. (Our client provides full assistance and holds the necessary short workshops on-site to make this an incredibly easy process!)

  • Background Clearance: Must clear a standard New York State fingerprinting and education background check prior to formal onboarding.

  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license and independent transportation required for local clinical site travel.
