What is a full time WIC RN?

A Full Time WIC RN is a Registered Nurse who works full-time within the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Their primary responsibilities include providing nutrition education, conducting health assessments, and supporting breastfeeding for eligible women and young children. They also help clients access resources, refer them to healthcare providers, and ensure program compliance. These nurses play a crucial role in promoting maternal and child health in the community.
