WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

As a Sewer Maintenance Worker / Equipment Operator, you perform excavation duties to the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency. You ensure proper paperwork is completed before work is to be performed including 811 (Bluestakes). You also complete filing permits, pre-excavation checklist, safety checklists, and locate where work is performed and traced out. Using skid steers, mini excavators, or a shovel you perform manual excavation. With your understanding of trench safety equipment including shoring, trench boxes, and work in trenches, you are able to maintain a safe environment. You make proper connections using the correct fittings for sewer and water pipe to correct bad sewer and water lines. Proper procedures are always used as you continue to learn the technical skill of sewer repair and lining, including wearing PPE. You also ensure equipment is cleaned, and inventory levels are properly maintained. If you can do this and meet the following requirements, we would be excited to have you join us!

  • Competent Person Training
  • 1 year of mini-excavator and skid steer experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Have basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Knowledge of pipe laying and bedding
  • Sewer Liner knowledge is a plus!
