Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical, compassionate counseling through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client needs, fostering an atmosphere of trust and engagement.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health challenges faced by your clients.
• Facilitate insightful discussions to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, thoughts, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitor and assess client progress consistently throughout the treatment process, adapting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and life skills to enhance their overall quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present a variety of mental health needs. Your efforts will focus on helping them cultivate skills necessary for improving mental wellness and emotional health, fostering a transformative journey toward recovery and self-empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license, including but not limited to: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. Provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• No prior disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a sympathetic and empathetic nature.
• Strong proficiency in using technology, including a computer with a webcam and reliable internet access for virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record of delivering mental health counseling in a virtual environment.
• Experience with diverse client populations and familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration through effective communication.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
