Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Mental Health Counselor include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions using a compassionate, ethical approach via video chat.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license that is active and allows for independent practice (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD).
• No disciplinary actions or limitations on licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting the mental health needs of clients.
• Proven competency with computer systems and virtual communication tools.
• Access to a reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities, as well as a strong internet connection for conducting online therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with mental health assessment tools will be strongly favored. Proven success in client engagement and retention may also enhance a candidate’s application.

Compensation and Benefits
