This role involves coordinating resources, overseeing third-party providers, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires technical expertise in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance, alongside effective communication with facility users and leadership. The Technician supports cost control measures, implements upgrades, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts, fostering a reliable and well-maintained exterior environment aligned with company standards and operational goals.

The team comprises skilled professionals committed to maintaining facility systems with a focus on safety, functionality, and quality. They conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food equipment and related systems, ensuring regulatory compliance. Their expertise spans electrical systems, irrigation, and equipment troubleshooting, enabling timely resolution of maintenance needs. What you'll do:
  • Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and execute budgets, approve purchases, and verify receipt of materials and equipment.
  • Lead and evaluate third-party providers, conduct quality inspections, and troubleshoot facility issues.
  • Perform seasonal exterior maintenance, snow and ice management, and equipment operation following safety protocols.
  • Maintain vehicles and powered equipment, ensuring proper operation, documentation, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Home Office to standardize tools, reduce costs, and implement sustainable facility upgrades.
  • Communicate effectively with facility users to resolve concerns and maintain safe, compliant environments.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance and exterior services, including seasonal landscaping and snow removal operations.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Ability to manage budgets, approve purchases, and conduct cost comparisons to control expenses effectively.
  • Skilled in operating and maintaining heavy machinery, powered equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching third-party providers and conducting quality assurance inspections.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills to assess and resolve facility-related issues.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
