We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Store Associate for Merchandise and Visual Presentation to support and oversee the execution of corporate merchandising and visual direction within the store.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of maintaining an attractive and compelling store presentation that aligns with seasonal themes, ensuring that store signage, window displays, and perimeter graphics are updated in accordance with corporate standards is a key function of this role.

This role is key in creating a visually engaging shopping experience that drives customer traffic and supports sales. 

Who Are You:

 

  • Strong understanding of visual presentation principles, including product placement, color theory, and design trends.
  • Ability to follow corporate guidelines and implement visual standards effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.

You Also Have:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of retail experience with a focus on visual merchandising, merchandising coordination, or similar role.

As The Lead, Merchandise and Visual Execution, You Will:

 

Merchandise Presentation:

 

o Ensure all in-store displays and product arrangements adhere to corporate visual and merchandising standards.

o Maintain the aesthetic quality and neatness of merchandise displays, adjusting them to reflect seasonal changes and product launches.

o Organize products to create eye-catching displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales opportunities.

Visual Direction:

 

o Follow and implement corporate visual directives to create an appealing store environment, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality.

o Collaborate with store management to execute visual changes, updates, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards and seasonal themes.

Signage Management:

o Regularly check and update all in-store signage, promotional displays, and window/perimeter signage.

o Ensure all seasonal signage is displayed correctly, maintaining a fresh and consistent look in alignment with corporate branding guidelines.

 

Team Leadership:

o Lead by example in upholding company merchandising and presentation standards. o Support and guide store associates on visual presentation best practices and techniques.

o Provide feedback and training to team members to ensure merchandise and displays are presented to the highest standards.

Collaboration with Management:

 

o Work closely with the Store Director and Assistant Store Directors to discuss and implement visual changes in the store based on sales, inventory, and seasonal needs.

o Communicate any merchandise or visual challenges, providing solutions to ensure consistency across the store.

Inventory Awareness:

 

o Assist with product inventory and stock organization, ensuring the right merchandise is displayed to support sales targets and promotional activities.

Customer Experience:

 

o Ensure all visual merchandising efforts contribute to creating a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable shopping environment for customers.

o Monitor customer reactions to displays and signage, adapting strategies where necessary to enhance customer engagement.

Physical Requirements:

 

o Ability to stand for extended periods.

o Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed (up to 40 lbs).

o Ability to climb ladders to arrange displays or adjust signage.
