As a Physical Therapist at Restore Physical Therapy, you will work onsite in a fully equipped rehabilitation center with state-of-the-art tools and technology. The center fosters collaboration among interdisciplinary teams, allowing you to work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other healthcare professionals. • Assess and evaluate patients’ physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving their mobility and overall functional capabilities.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote physical well-being and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients about body mechanics, exercise techniques, and effective home exercise programs to facilitate their recovery process.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold therapy to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, including monitoring improvements in range of motion, strength, and function.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring that necessary equipment and supplies are organized and ready for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, addressing complex cases through shared knowledge and expertise.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive and motivating environment throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold high ethical and professional standards by maintaining patient confidentiality and advocating for their rights.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your experience in various rehabilitation specialties will be invaluable in tailoring treatment plans to the unique needs of each patient, whether they are children, seniors, or athletes. Understanding the different challenges faced by each demographic will empower you to provide impactful and targeted care.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting, with exposure to a variety of rehabilitation specialties preferred.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Proficiency in implementing innovative therapeutic approaches and keeping abreast of industry advancements.
• Experience with interdisciplinary teamwork and collaborative patient care approaches.
