Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Coordinator in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom office location, you will welcome guests, manage access, monitor activity, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This role offers the chance to represent Allied Universal with agility, reliability, and innovation while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity to help address security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy office location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage access points, verify visitor credentials, and direct guests in accordance with site protocols and reception procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when appropriate.
  • Support a professional lobby presence by answering questions, documenting visitor and/or contractor activity, and reporting maintenance, access, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Assist with badge distribution, sign-in processes, and other front desk administrative tasks that help to deter unauthorized access and support daily operations within a technology-focused workplace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
