Job description

The duties and responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse include the planning, directing and supervising of resident care, providing direct nursing care to residents, and to supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants and orderlies within the United Methodist Senior Services. Such care and supervision will be in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and as outlined in established policies and procedures at United Methodist Senior Services, to maximize fulfilling the care-giving needs of residents. The person(s) holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities.
