How you'll contribute
A Receptionist who excels in this role:
  • Is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
  • Responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls appropriately, registering patients, collecting co-pays, directing and scheduling patients and visitors, acting as a liaison between patients and medical support staff, as well as assisting patients with check out.
  • Responsible for the management of medical records and coordination with others both within and outside the organization and to assure that records are complete and accurate.
  • These duties facilitate the sharing of medical records with other HIPAA compliant providers and organizations.

What we're looking for
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred
  • One year experience working in customer service.
  • Preferred: One year experience in medical office setting
  • Prior knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of Athena or similar EHR preferred
