Locum Pharmacist – San Luis Obispo, CA

08/17/2026 – 10/11/2026 | Up to $96/hour | Full-Time

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking a Locum Pharmacist for a full-time inpatient assignment. This is an auto-offer opportunity for qualified candidates with current Epic experience.

Position Details:

  • Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

  • Assignment: 08/17/2026 – 10/11/2026

  • Schedule: Rotating Shift, 4x10s

  • Compensation: Up to $96/hour

  • Setting: Acute care hospital

  • EMR: Current Epic experience required

Requirements:

  • Active California Pharmacist license

  • Current Epic experience required

  • Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred

  • Must pass IV training

  • Experience with pediatric and neonatal patient populations required

  • PharmD preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and dispense medication orders

  • Monitor medication therapies for safety and effectiveness

  • Provide clinical pharmacy support and drug information

  • Identify and resolve medication-related issues
