Job Summary:

One of the main factors that makes Reeder's so different than a typical gas station is that we offer our customers the chance of Full Service. As a Full-Service Drive Attendant, you are responsible for taking care of our customers and their vehicles. The role of a Full-Service Drive Attendant includes greeting customers with enthusiasm, dispensing gas into vehicles, checking tire pressure, and washing vehicle windows. Duties of a Full-Service Drive Attendant may also include operating registers, restocking products, and various other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned. All Full-Service Drive Attendants will report to the Operations Manager and C-Store Assistant Manager.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to greet customers in a positive manner
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Be punctual, responsible, and accountable
  • Politely engage customers in conversation and educate them on products available in convenience store
  • Suggest when a customer needs to meet with one of Reeder's Automotive Technicians

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Politely engaging with customers and listening to their wants and needs
  • Dispense fuel into customer's vehicles
  • Check tire pressure and basic under the hood fluids (oil level, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid)
  • Routine cleaning and stocking on Self-Service & Full-Service Drive, inside C-Store, and at carwash
  • Diligently washing vehicle windows
  • Routine opening and closing duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs over head
  • Able to squat repeatedly
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours or more
  • Able to constantly work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder
  • Accurately and professionally operate fuel dispenser, tire gauge, or other machinery
  • Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information that others will understand
  • Ability to constantly observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer)

Education: None

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation

Certifications:

  • Food handlers permit
  • ABLE permit as age required (Reeder's will help you obtain permit if you do not have one)
