Job description

WHO ARE WE?

Riviera Dining Group is redefining hospitality through elevated dining, vibrant nightlife, and immersive design. From the success of MILA in Miami Beach to the expansion of AVA, CASA NEOS, and CLAUDIE, RDG is building a collection of destinations that offer more than a meal — they create unforgettable experiences.

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Riviera Dining Group is hiring a full-time, on-site IT Systems Administrator to lead network administration, Microsoft 365 administration, and end-user technical support across its restaurant and hospitality venues. This is an active, mobile, hands-on position — expect to be on your feet, on ladders, in server closets, and on the restaurant floor during service. This is not a remote or desk-bound systems administrator role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Network Infrastructure & Cisco Meraki Administration
    • Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki networking hardware — switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points — across multiple physical locations.
    • Monitor network performance, deploy upgrades, and troubleshoot connectivity issues on-site.
    • Physically install, rack, cable, and replace network hardware in venue IDF and server closets.
  • Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Administration
    • Administer Office 365 and Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
    • Build and maintain SharePoint Online sites for internal documentation and collaboration.
  • Help Desk & End-User Support
    • Serve as primary point of contact for internal IT support tickets through a modern ticketing system.
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and Toast POS issues for team members, including in-person support during active service hours.
    • Execute IT onboarding and offboarding: account provisioning, hardware setup, imaging, and access control.
  • Business Application Administration
    • Manage user roles, permissions, and integrations within Slack.
    • Partner with stakeholders to ensure business applications support operational processes effectively.
  • IT Security & Compliance
    • Implement and maintain IT security best practices: data backup, antivirus, patch management, and access control.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal policies.
  • Vendor & IT Asset Management
    • Manage third-party vendor relationships for software licensing, hardware procurement, and IT services.
    • Track and maintain hardware and software IT asset inventories.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required
    • 5+ years of IT support and systems administration experience, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki networking equipment.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 admin center and SharePoint Online.
    • Working knowledge of Slack administration.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Freshservice, or Jira.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and respond under time pressure.
    • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require, including support during active restaurant service.
  • Preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
    • CCNA, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or [Salesforce Administrator — CONFIRM] certification.
  • Competencies
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Ability to document processes clearly and thoroughly.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Physical Demands
    • Regular travel between venue locations throughout the workday.
    • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
    • Climbing ladders and working in confined spaces, including server closets, above-ceiling cable runs, and under-counter POS installations.
    • Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds.
    • Extended computer and keyboard use, which lends itself to repetitive motion.
  • Work Environment
    • Corporate office paired with multi-venue field work.
    • Fast-paced restaurant environment with varying noise levels and temperatures.
    • Evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require, including active restaurant service hours.
