Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Used Car Service Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our dealership’s quality and safety standards prior to sale. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering reliable, road-ready vehicles—because at our dealership, we are Driven to Serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive inspections on used vehicles (mechanical, electrical, and safety components)
  • Diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs in a timely manner
  • Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, fluid services, etc.)
  • Complete reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for retail sale
  • Accurately document inspections, findings, and repairs
  • Communicate repair needs with service advisors and management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety standards
 Qualifications
  • Previous automotive technician experience required (used car or reconditioning experience preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Own tools required
  • ASE certification preferred but not required
