Job Description

As a Security Officer TWIC Authorization Review in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue and maintain badges, and monitor access activity at a dynamic terminal location. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and help maintain a secure environment through professional presence and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the location, direct authorized personnel and deliveries to designated areas, and report unauthorized access attempts.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
