CDL Class B Driver – Used Oil Collection

$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS

As a leader in environmental services, we are seeking a CDL Class B Driver who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment. Our drivers operate a diverse fleet that may include straight tanker trucks, box trucks, and automated refuse collection vehicles equipped with hydraulic cart lifting systems. One day you may be servicing a fleet maintenance facility with a tanker truck, and the next you could be operating an automated collection vehicle servicing customer locations throughout South Florida.

This is a position for someone who is adaptable, safety-focused, and enjoys being part of an industry that keeps businesses and communities running. Candidates must possess a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. This position is subject to working nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response assignments as business needs require. A TWIC card must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

What You Will Do

  • Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including straight tanker trucks, box trucks, and automated refuse collection vehicles with hydraulic cart lifting systems.
  • Collect and transport used oil, oily wastewater, and related materials from customer locations.
  • Service a diverse customer base including automotive dealerships, fleet maintenance facilities, bus companies, airports, rental car facilities, industrial sites, and quick-service automotive centers.
  • Operate automated cart lifting equipment and other specialized collection systems.
  • Pump out tanks, drums, and containers using pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
  • Complete manifests, logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Cliff Berry, Inc. professionally.
  • Remain flexible and ready to operate different equipment and perform different assignments based on daily operational needs.
  • Support emergency response and special projects when required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
  • Air Brake qualification required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience.
  • Experience operating straight tanker trucks and box trucks required.
  • Experience operating automated side-loader or refuse collection vehicles preferred.
  • Strong safety record and commitment to DOT compliance.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card within 60 days of hire.
