Job Summary/Description:

Are you a storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment? HNN is looking for a motivated Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join our award-winning team. This is a rewarding opportunity to report on Hawaii's stories for a statewide television station with a global digital footprint.

We are looking for someone who digs, develops contacts, and embraces all aspects of the storytelling process - shooting, writing, editing, presenting on camera, and online.
We understand the demands of the job. In this role, you would primarily shoot and edit your own daily stories, but all of our MMJs work with photographers for live shots. Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

Develop and pitch unique stories daily
Shoot, write, edit, and present compelling stories, either solo or in collaboration with a photographer
Optimize story presentation for each Hawaii News Now platform

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
Ability to shoot and edit on deadline
Strong understanding of digital and social platforms
Clean Driving Record
