About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join a growing civil engineering, planning, and land surveying team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in preparing plats and survey documents using AutoCAD or similar software. You'll collaborate closely with field crews, engineers, and project managers to produce high-quality surveying deliverables for a range of land development projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with survey data collectors and field crews to process and interpret field data
  • Prepare office surveys and reduce field notes for accuracy
  • Perform basic mathematical and trigonometric calculations as needed
  • Create plats, as-built drawings, tree and topographic surveys, and other exhibits using AutoCAD
  • Analyze data for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and team members

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Formal training in a surveying-related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in surveying technology or a related discipline
