Job description

Position Title: vITM
Location: Virginia Beach
Work Arrangement: Onsite with local client visits


We are seeking a client-facing IT Manager to join our Managed Services team at Endurance IT Services! The IT Manager will service as a technical resource and point-of-contact managed services customers, to ensure service delivery aligns with company standards. This role will focus on guiding customers' IT and infosec strategy, reducing reactive support, and maintaining customer retention. The role involves managing 20-30 clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold core values: client satisfaction, staff retention, and community involvement
  • Develop and maintain client network knowledge and documentation
  • Perform regular onsite proactive services and simple technology implementations
  • Act as the primary implementation engineer for assigned clients
  • Implement and define best practices, assess business risks, and recommend upgrades
  • Ensure client satisfaction and coordinate with vCIO
  • Handle ticket escalation and perform root-cause analysis
  • Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in IT or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in network/IT systems and troubleshooting
  • Extensive proficiency with IT hardware and software, including Microsoft server and desktop OS, network components, server virtualization, and cloud services
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft and Cisco
  • Position requires local market travel to client sites
