About the Position: This position oversees statewide appraisal and assessment programs and supervises the personal property appraisal and assessment team. Programs include widely varying work in compliance audit, appraisal, and education. The position supervises the representatives who serve as the primary Department of Revenue contact for Mississippi counties. This candidate ensures county compliance with statutory mandates and Department of Revenue regulations. Additionally, the position will research and develop appraisal schedules and guidelines and provide training for county staff.
